Alejandra V. is a Pájaro resident and entrepreneur. Alejandra runs a small gourmet food business and a printing business. She also attends the Pájaro resident meetings at Casa de la Cultura.

Nature is wise and it will always find a way to appear.

Before the flood, I cooked with tap water. The water was contaminated during the flood and although it was later reported that the water was safe, I am afraid to cook with that water for my family. I have noticed that the water has a dark color.

This is my favorite tree in my house, in other years it would have many flowers, but this year it is just giving its first buds. My garden was flooded with dirty water from the river, and filled with mud, I think that could have affected my tree. Climate change is affecting the entire system and we must do something to try to save our earth.

This photo means that I would like to see more sunny days and the sun comes out in all its splendor, because we have more cloudy days than sunny ones. The seasons feel different, now it rains in the spring.

The soil is becoming increasingly infertile and dry.

Seeing the flag fluttering in the wind, it worries me to know that little by little our air is becoming more polluted and that pollution also contributes to climate change.

Rainy days don't allow me to see the bright sun. We all contribute to the harm of our earth, these are the results.
